Browsing my gallery

Hey guys,
I don't know why deviantArt is doing this. When you go to my Newest Artwork widget and then try to browse the gallery it takes you to "Featured Art", which is actually just my old artwork in backwards order.
If you want to see my newer (BETTER) artwork, please sort by browse, not featured.
This is annoying me to no end and I feel like dA is trying to make it annoying for non-subscribers to encourage subscription.
Look, dA, I know you are a business, but I can hardly afford my groceries here. Don't make it annoying for me to browse my gallery just because I don't want to subscribe.

chap painting time lapse

Hey everyone!
Over the course of painting Chap, I filmed myself with the isight camera on my mac. I'm compiling it into sections of time lapse video, which I will organize and post on my youtube account soon. Stay tuned for updates - hopefully I will be finished with it within the week.

Other news...
I now have 3-4 commissions from one client! I am honored to be painting my client's wedding photo. It is very exciting to do these paintings.. the dogs are really helping to build my portfolio, and their owners seem pleased with the outcome! Currently, I am only taking commissions in person, but hopefully in the future I will be able to work with online clientele.

I cleaned up my gallery a LOT... put a ton of stuff in scraps! It looks more professional this way. No more sloppy sketches littering my gallery in between finished pieces. Hopefully this grabs some attention, I haven't been getting much lately.

yeah, in Gym class. No lie. It got a little rough during capture the flag (the flag was a stuffed goose), and whoops there goes my pants. It was all in good fun, and I think about 2 people actually saw it happen so...yeah.
hehe.
SAT(an)'s tomorrow morning, so I should go to bed, so I can fail miserably and still be accepted to PSU later on. ohh.. hardcore.

Portfolio Review Day 2005

I'm scared. Well not really scared. Not even nervous yet. I don't know if I will even be when I get there. It's kind of exciting. But not.
It feels like getting married, and I have cold feet.
I don't want to leave the security of high school. I don't want to leave the security of home. I don't want to feel like my home is endangered by leaving. I don't want to start anything new so fast.
It's amazing how minds change in an instant.
I had a dream last night about how things used to be; about how I used to get yelled at all of the time for stupid stuff. It was a bad dream, but it made me think about how I just always thought about getting out and being independent and how it would be so amazing to leave when I graduated. Now I'm slightly independent. I'm actually allowed to do things. I'm not getting in trouble constantly. I like it. Yeah, parents are a drag. But now it isnt so bad. Because they know I'm mature and I can handle it.
Am I mature?
Can I handle it?
It's snowing outside.
